Good to know
Before you use it
- Manufacturing (31-33), Retail Trade (44-45) and Transportation and Warehousing (48-49) span several two-digit prefixes, so their sector codes are ranges.
- Change2022 says what changed from NAICS 2017: a new code, a new title or new content. It is empty for unchanged codes.
- Six-digit national industries are the most specific level and the one most forms ask for.
- In every format, dates are written as yyyy-MM-dd, and yes/no values as true or false. An empty value means nothing was recorded.
